HEALTH authorities will resume a mosquito monitoring program in Sutherland Shire and St George amid fears that a rise in mosquito activity could lead to an outbreak of Ross River Virus.

Following inquiries from the Leader, South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service announced this week it would fund a new mosquito-trapping program.
